I was always confused by that, so rotational correction is basically only relevant withing stations that rotate. What I think would be really handy is a rotation correction you could add to FA-off, like, FA-off for lateral but not rotation. Especially for starting with FA-off as at least to me the rotational balance is much more challenging than the lateral.

I just want to go onto the record and say that Nick Naylor isn't the savior or the saint people claim he is... I've been using turret pulse lasers on both small hard points with a gimballed beam laser and a turret multi cannon for the medium hard points. I also use a 3b shield generator with a shield booster. Keeps me pretty protected for a while even after I run out of ammunition for the multi cannon.

Here’s what I have. The guardian civilization, according to the logs, basically expanded outword in the same way ours did, and they came across meta-alloys, probably in the same manner we have. Most of the information in the logs, pretty much spells out the exact same process that we had with thargoids. So the guardians had time to expand and enough time harvesting these alloys to base some of their technology on it. But their entire species evolved in environmental and natural science. So the application of this particular organic technology would’ve almost been seamless to such a species. Most of us at the GSC and at least a few at Canonn believe that, without evidence to the contrary, if the logs are correct, the guardians assimilated thargoid technology that they deemed useful or beneficial or more efficient. The religion that they adhered to, from what we can tell was a worship of the natural science process. So I wouldn’t consider it coincidence. Maybe cause effect. But these species were at war with each other for a good while, and have had 1 million years since to adapt to each others technology as well. This explains the failure of salvation Thargoids had far more experience with that technology than humans. And if any guardian technology was deemed useful, they have had plenty of time to adapt it into their culture. Or hive. Or whatever they have. I have extensive detailed albums of video and photographs of the sentinels if you ever need to see them.
